Top Everton Moment:

Funny that after seeing us win several league titles & cups my top Everton moment is the 1993/94 last game of the season against Wimbledon when we avoided relegation by the skin of our teeth! We were utter sh*te that season & probably deserved to go down. We booked a row of about 15 seats in the Upper Bullens & met in the boozer before the match, there were guys there who I hadn’t been to the match with in years & the atmosphere was like a wake, we all expected to go down. The feeling of euphoria at the final whistle when we heard Sheff Utd had been beaten & we’d stayed up was unbelievable, better than any trophy win. We all went on a bender, eventually ending up back in Rainhill & after all the kopite talk of ‘Going Down Parties’ there were none to be seen!!
