I was born and spent my formative years playing around the streets of Goodison Park. Went to Gwladys St Primary, played matches using the gates of Goodison as goals.

Scrapped in Stanley Park. Witnessed fights down Gwladys St with away fans in the early 70s.

Parents brought us out “to Oz for a “Better life”......
